LEARNING OUTCOME

The programme will allow the graduate to venture into further expertise and career progression in different postgraduate courses that are related to Biology and/or agriculture fields.

The graduate form this program should be able to:

  1. Teach Agriculture and Biology Science subjects.
  2. Mange schools and perform other administrative duties
  3. Advise and participate in formation of educational policies.
  4. Develop attitude towards self – employment.

Preparation to become a competent educator in life Sciences and food Security Technologies.

 

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Two principal passes (4 points) in the following subjects: Chemistry, Biology, Advanced Mathematics, Com- puter Science, Physics or Geography OR Diploma in Education with an average of “B” or GPA of 3.0.
In addition, an applicant must have a minimum of “D” grade in two science subjects in the following order,

Chemistry and Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics, Geography and Biology, or Geography and Mathematics; Chemistry and Physics; Physics and Mathematics; Physics and Geography.
